For more than five decades, I have opened the doors of my Dublin shop each morning with one simple rule: no fleeting trends and no shortcuts. Every day has begun with the same dedication to true craftsmanship—sewing garments, painting details, and creating accessories by hand, all designed to be worn, loved, and treasured for years.
That passion has been at the heart of Moira Dublin for 53 years. What began as a small shop and a love for making beautiful things has become a story shaped by creativity, familiar faces, and genuine care.

This little shop holds decades of hard work, stories, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Over the years, I have watched generations of women walk through these doors and choose pieces that would become part of their own lives.
Every bag, garment, and accessory I create carries the same intention I have always believed in: that the things we wear should feel personal, meaningful, and made to last.
For me, craftsmanship has never simply been about creating something beautiful. It lives in the smallest details, the patient hours spent at my workbench, and the joy of knowing that something made by my hands can become part of someone else’s memories.
As this chapter begins to draw to a close, that feeling means more to me than ever.
ONE DOOR CLOSES, ANOTHER OPENS
My daughter grew up by my side in this shop, surrounded by fabrics, sketches, brushes, thread, and the familiar rhythm of our days together. Now, as she prepares to become a mother and our family awaits the arrival of my grandson, it feels as though a beautiful circle is being completed.
After 53 years, I have made the heartfelt decision to close my shop and dedicate this next chapter of my life to my family. I want to be there from the moment my grandson arrives—to hold him, watch him grow, and create new memories together.
Moira Dublin has always been more than a shop to me. It is a lifetime of craftsmanship, a collection of precious memories, and a story created slowly, carefully, and with love.
Although these doors will soon close, that story will live on in every piece made here.
