Refund policy
Cancellation, Returns & Refund Policy – Republic of Ireland
Last updated: 5 September 2026
This Cancellation, Returns & Refund Policy applies to consumers who purchase physical goods online from Moira Dublin, operated by Corvi Group LLC, for delivery in the Republic of Ireland.
Nothing in this Policy limits, excludes or replaces any statutory rights available to consumers under the Consumer Rights Act 2022 or other applicable Irish or European Union consumer protection legislation.
1. Change-of-Mind Cancellation – 14 Days
You have the right to cancel your online purchase without giving any reason within 14 days.
For a standard order, the 14-day cancellation period begins on the day on which you, or a third party nominated by you other than the carrier, acquire physical possession of the goods.
If several items from the same order are delivered separately, the cancellation period begins when you receive the last item from that order.
To exercise your right to cancel, you must notify us before the cancellation period expires by a clear statement confirming your decision to cancel.
Email: info@moiradublin.com
Please include your order number where possible so that we can identify your purchase promptly.
You may also use the Model Cancellation Form at the end of this Policy, although use of the form is not mandatory.
Sending your cancellation notice before the 14-day period expires is sufficient to meet the cancellation deadline. Irish law permits consumers to cancel a distance contract by an unequivocal statement and provides the standard 14-day period for online sales.
2. Returning a Change-of-Mind Purchase
After notifying us that you wish to cancel, you must return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the day on which you informed us of your cancellation.
Returns are accepted by post.
Before sending the goods, please contact:
We will provide you with the appropriate return address and return instructions.
Requesting these instructions is intended only to ensure that the parcel is sent to the correct returns facility and processed correctly. It does not restrict your statutory right to cancel.
For change-of-mind returns:
- The customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods.
- We do not charge a restocking fee.
- We strongly recommend using a trackable postal service and retaining your proof of postage until your return and refund have been completed.
Irish law permits the consumer to be responsible for the direct return costs where the trader has informed the consumer of this obligation.
3. Condition of Change-of-Mind Returns
You may inspect and handle the goods only to the extent reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, in the same way that you would normally inspect goods in a physical shop.
Where reasonably possible, items should be returned:
- Unworn and unused other than reasonable inspection;
- With original tags still attached; and
- With the original packaging.
The absence of original packaging does not automatically remove your statutory right to cancel.
However, you may be responsible for any reduction in the value of the goods caused by handling beyond what was reasonably necessary to inspect them. Irish law expressly allows liability for diminished value caused by excessive handling.
4. Refunds for Change-of-Mind Cancellations
If you validly cancel your contract, we will reimburse the payments due to you in accordance with applicable law.
If the entire order is cancelled, the refund includes the cost of the least expensive standard delivery method offered for that order.
If you selected a faster, enhanced or more expensive delivery option, the additional amount paid above the least expensive standard delivery option is not refundable.
For partial cancellations, original delivery charges will be refunded only where required by applicable law.
Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless you expressly agree otherwise.
There is no refund processing fee or restocking fee.
We will process the refund without undue delay and within the legally required timeframe.
Where you are required to return goods, we may withhold the refund until:
- We receive the returned goods; or
- You provide evidence that you have sent the goods back,
whichever occurs first.
Irish law expressly permits this withholding mechanism for cancelled sales contracts.
Please note that after we issue a refund, your bank or payment provider may require additional processing time before the funds appear in your account.
5. Faulty, Damaged, Incorrect or Misdescribed Goods
Your rights where goods are faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or not as described are separate from the 14-day change-of-mind cancellation right.
If you believe that you have received an item that is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible at:
Please provide, where reasonably possible:
- Your order number;
- A description of the issue; and
- Clear photographs showing the item and the problem.
Photographs help us assess the problem quickly but will not be used to unlawfully restrict your statutory rights.
Where goods do not conform to the sales contract, Irish consumers have statutory remedies under the Consumer Rights Act 2022. This includes a short-term right to terminate the contract in qualifying circumstances, normally available for 30 days, as well as rights relating to repair or replacement.
Where a legally valid termination occurs because the goods do not conform to the contract, the trader must reimburse the price and applicable return costs in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2022.
Where goods are confirmed to be faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed:
Moira Dublin will bear the necessary return costs.
Please contact us before arranging the return so that we can provide the appropriate return instructions.
Nothing in this section limits your statutory consumer rights.
6. Items Excluded from the Change-of-Mind Right
The statutory right to cancel due solely to a change of mind does not apply in certain circumstances provided by law, including:
- Non-prefabricated goods made on the basis of an individual choice or decision by the consumer;
- Goods that are clearly personalised;
- Goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly;
- Sealed goods that are not suitable for return for genuine health protection or hygiene reasons where the seal has been removed after delivery; and
- Goods that, after delivery and because of their nature, become inseparably mixed with other items.
These exclusions apply only where the relevant legal requirements are satisfied. They do not remove your rights where goods are faulty, damaged, incorrect or otherwise do not conform to the sales contract. These exclusions reflect section 111 of the Consumer Rights Act 2022.
7. Sale and Discounted Items
Products purchased during a promotion, clearance event or sale, including products advertised at up to 70% off, are covered by the same statutory consumer rights as other eligible products.
A discounted price does not by itself remove your statutory right to cancel an eligible online purchase or your rights concerning faulty or non-conforming goods.
Any lawful exception described in Section 6 above continues to apply.
8. Exchanges
If you would prefer another size or colour, please contact:
Exchanges are subject to stock availability.
For an exchange requested solely because you changed your mind, you remain responsible for the direct cost of returning the original item.
If an exchange is necessary because we supplied a faulty, damaged or incorrect item, we will bear the necessary costs in accordance with applicable law.
Requesting an exchange does not remove or restrict any statutory right that you may otherwise have.
9. Return Method and Return Costs – Summary
For clarity:
Change-of-mind return:
